Behind every successful man, there stands a woman.
Everybody believes a man will succeed with the hard work and support of the “woman behind” him. This woman, not necessarily his wife, lays a firm foundation with the stones others throw at him.
That said, the woman a man chooses to have beside him will make or break him. She will either build her man up to the level he might not achieve alone or she will drain him out, leaving him depleted and exhausted.
Finding the perfect woman for a relationship can be tricky. However, ensure your future success and happiness by avoiding these types of women.
The Overly Feminist Women
Feminism is “the belief in and advocacy of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes expressed especially through organized activity on behalf of women’s rights and interests.”
There is nothing wrong with dating a feminist.
However, overly feminist women assume that men are the reason behind every difficulty and misfortune they face. And so, they can never be pleased with any man and his word or deed.
But let’s assume you’ve landed an overly feminist woman. Dating her will be attractive and thought-provoking at first. You’ll see the prejudices that women experience every day.
Over time, however, she will criticize every action you take and see it as detrimental to the female population. This will lead you to a downward spiral of low self-esteem and people-pleasing behavior.
The Material Girls

Everybody is familiar with Madonna’s song, Material Girl. It has been a bop since 1984 and has since influenced females of all ages.
As a result, you’ll find women in the dating scene who personify this song.
At first, you’ll enjoy showing your love through gift-giving, especially if you’re the provider type of man. However, the time will come when they’ll burn holes in your pocket.
There’s nothing wrong with showering your partner with gifts. And there’s nothing wrong with women wanting what they deserve.
But when they expect you to fund their luxuries, like jewelry, vacations, and shopping sprees, you’re in big trouble. You’ll be losing money instead of earning more.
In the long run, you’ll be left alone and penniless.
The Hopeless Romantics
Roses are red.
Violets are blue.
Sugar is sweet.
And so are you.
This poem is as old as time, but it will still have hopeless romantics swooning.
Hopeless romantics are in love with the idea of love. They believe that it conquers everything.
For them, love is an intoxicating rush of fluttering emotions. They live for sparks and butterflies, seemingly always dreaming of fateful encounters and romantic speeches that sound like poetry.
They have idealized views of love, all thanks to rom-com movies and romance tropes in novels. Thus, they will have unrealistic expectations in your relationship that you must live up to every day.
Better Safe Than Sorry
Alluring eyes, a charming smile, and an attractive voice.
Men quickly let their guard down when they find a woman possessing such characteristics. They believe she is everything they want and need.
However, this shallow and superficial reason to date someone will be every man’s downfall.
Chasing the wrong woman will lead to serious problems in life. So, avoid the types of women mentioned above to avoid a miserable relationship.
Instead, find a woman who will be a catalyst for your success.
